Ana Cabán
Master Fitness Instructor Ana Cabán is one of the most important Pilates instructors today. Her award-winning videos have sold millions worldwide, while her innate talent for teaching and drive for perfecting her craft have made her one of the most sought after Pilates instructors in the fitness industry.
Ana has been featured in countless media and has been a celebrity guest instructor at prestigious destination spas such as The Golden Door and Cal-a-Vie. Ana has won numerous Aegis and Telly Awards. In 2002 the Business Professional Women’s Association named her Woman of the Year. In 2006, Ana was a featured participant in the 7th Annual Latin Grammy Awards at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Ana began teaching Pilates in 1997 and is proud to have had the honor of training under the tutelage of “the grande dame of Pilates”, Romana Kryzonowska. Ana has been touted as “The guru of Pilates” by La Prensa, and “an amazing instructor” by Amazon.com. She derives great pleasure from teaching and seeing the life-changing benefits her clients and fans experience from working with her and her videos.
Over the past decade Ana has owned and operated Pilates studios in both Miami and Los Angeles. When not teaching in the studio, or on the video set, Ana remains active in the Fitness Community as a presenter for the Pilates Method Alliance. IDEA Health & Fitness, Peak Pilates® and E.C.A. World Fitness.
Having recently relocated back to the Los Angeles area, Ana is excited to be teaching at In and Up Pilates in the Silver Lake neighborhood of LA. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering with local charity groups.
